CBC is an Android app developed by Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC (Commercial House, No 21, Sir Razik Fareed Mawatha,P.O. Box 856 Colombo 1, Sri Lanka.).

CBC first became available on 21 Feb 2014. It is estimated that CBC has been downloaded between 100000 and 500000 times from the Play Store.

CBC 1.14 requires the following permissions:

Allows an app to access approximate location. Alternatively, you might want ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION.

Allows an app to access precise location. Alternatively, you might want ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to write to external storage.
